How do I sign up for group classes?
Clicking the "buy it" button under the class you want to take and check out online, this reserves your spot in class. After purchasing the class, you should be redirected back to our Private & Group Training Service Contract that you can fill out and bring to your appointment or first class or you can wait until your appointment and fill the form out in person. Be sure to bring proof of Vaccines to your first appointment or class as well as treats. All dogs must be on a flat buckle collar or harness and a regular 6-foot leash or shorter, retractable leashes are NOT allowed.
What training methods do you use?
We are a Force, Pain & Intimidation Free Training Facility, we reward proper alternative behavior using whatever your dog will work for whether it be food, toys, play or praise. We do NOT use choke chains, prong or shock collars modify behavior.
Are you Certified?
Yes, we are certified in both behavior and training. Please visit our "About Us" page to see our extensive list of certifications we have undergone to help you and your pet. We often receive new client referrals from other trainers because of our extensive education and qualifications as well as a long list of local Veterinarians, shelters and rescue groups who exclusively refer their cliental to us. Our prices in most cases are equivalent to non-certified trainers and we are up to date on the latest scientific methods as we are required to continue our education to maintain our certification.
What is k9 Fitness & Canine Conditioning all about?
K9 Fitness & Conditioning helps your dog to get into and maintain a healthy weight to avoid injuries and illnesses associated with obesity. It also serves as an outlet for anxious and under stimulated dog to burn off excess energy and helps to alleviate many behavioral issues owner experience with an under stimulated or exercised dog.
Do I need to schedule an appointment for Pet Photography?
Yes you do! Because we offer Group & Private training we simply can not take walk-ins for pet photography.
What does your trick dog entertainment service offer?
We are in the process of revamping our Trick Dog Entertainment page as Brody has passed to the Rainbow Bridge. The service will continue with Lily who is available for Trick & Performance Dog Shows. We are expanding this page to incorporate her Animal Acting & Modeling Services. The page will be expanded to add clients who have graduated from our Animal Acting Course and Trick Dog Performance Course so individuals and casting directors can find local talent.
